Sun Burst Peak in Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park in the Canadian Rockies located west of the British Colombia & Alberta border 48 km.southwest of Banff.The mountain range mirrored in the deep blue waters with the panorama of fall colours .the viewpoint enjoyed by many tourist who come to the park each year .Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park is a magnificent place of shimmering lakes, glistening glaciers, sky scraping peaks and sun-dappled alpine meadows. World renowned Mount Assiniboine, at an elevation of 3,618 metres, is situated along the continental divide near the south east corner of the park and has defined mountain splendour in the Canadian Rockies for over 100 years.
My art comes from within,and the process of creating allows me to express myself in countless ways. I receive inspiration from the world around me, as well, since there is no artist as perfect as Mother Nature's beauty! I refer to myself as a late bloomer, in a good way! I 'm also happy to share that I 'm completely self-taught, no professional training whatsoever. I prefer acrylics, even though, lately, I've gotten into using oils and love the way the colors blend so easily on the canvas. My commissioned paintings decorate the walls of many homes all across Canada, for which I am grateful.
