When I was a kid on our farm my favorite thing was bread fresh from the oven smothered with freshly churned butter...oh, and a cold glass of fresh buttermilk. Now I'm both hungry and sentimental.

My art comes from within,and the process of creating allows me to express myself in countless ways. I receive inspiration from the world around me, as well, since there is no artist as perfect as Mother Nature's beauty! I refer to myself as a late bloomer, in a good way! I 'm also happy to share that I 'm completely self-taught, no professional training whatsoever. I prefer acrylics, even though, lately, I've gotten into using oils and love the way the colors blend so easily on the canvas.
