Chocolate lily growing among grasses on oak-covered hillsides. The chocolate lily is a herbaceous perennial monocot that is increasingly difficult to find in the wild due to habitat loss. The flower is a striking brown color akin to the color of chocolate.
My art comes from within,and the process of creating allows me to express myself in countless ways. I receive inspiration from the world around me, as well, since there is no artist as perfect as Mother Nature's beauty! I refer to myself as a late bloomer, in a good way! I 'm also happy to share that I 'm completely self-taught, no professional training whatsoever. I prefer acrylics, even though, lately, I've gotten into using oils and love the way the colors blend so easily on the canvas. My commissioned paintings decorate the walls of many homes all across Canada, for which I am grateful.
